Audrey Maria Joyce — AMJW
Photographer • Creative Director
It’s been a decade since Audrey welcomed photography into her life. From places, to people, to passing moments, her images mirror her approach to life: through authenticity, presence and perspective.
“With each new season I’m in, my craft grows alongside it.”
For Audrey, most of her solo art is created in moments of hiatus. Silencing the noise allows her to channel from a place that is true to her, ultimately reflecting in her creations—such as giving an image of a brushed shoulder the presence of emotion. When it comes to collaborating, her process is quite the opposite.
“Although I love creating on my own, nothing compares to working with another creative. The possibilities of combining one mind with another, going beyond your own limits, and resulting in something completely original.”
From cities to models to musical artists, her talents with the camera seamlessly blend with her efforts as a Creative Director and Writer. Photography guides Audrey to view the world from different angles, whether it’s stilling moments in time, revealing words unsaid in a person’s eyes, or bathing in a city’s colors.
“Each day I wake, my eyes become my lens. Photography isn’t only an art I create, but a way I live.”
